3 ingredient banana ice cream

We all love ice cream! And guess what? You can have it every day and not feel guilty. This simple 3 ingredient banana ice cream serves 3 and just needs a food processor.

Ingredients

  • 4 large bananas

  • 1/4 cup of oat/ coconut or almond milk

  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract

  • optional chopped nuts, dark choc chips or dried fruit

Chop your bananas and place into a container in the freezer. Allow 1-2 hours for the bananas to freeze.

In a food processor, blitz the bananas, plant milk and vanilla extract until smooth.

Add in any extras you fancy! If you want a real treat you can add toppings, I let the kids choose their own. We like chopped banana and sprinkles.

Your banana ice cream is best served immediately, but you can make a batch and freeze it in an airtight container for up to 12 weeks. Just give it time to soften a little when taking it back out.
